The Rundown...
Whether this is your first gin flight, or not, we can all agree there is a system in which a gin flight is carried out to ensure you get the most out of the gin experience.
And that is as follows:
Neat
If you’re game, try out gins neat before altering them to understand how they change throughout this process.
Chill
Add in your ice, allow your gin to chill down, and give it another taste. You will be surprised by the hidden flavours that come through when the ice calms down the ethanol.
Add Flair
Add in your desired garnish and watch as your gin changes shape …
Bubbles
Finally, pour in your bubbles to add a bit of sparkle to your gin drink.

WATERING HOLE (DRY) GIN
With bursts of citrus, fiery pepper, warming ginger and the sultry tease of lime, Watering Hole Dry Gin will have you tickled with pleasure. Rather than packing a punch, our Watering Hole Dry Gin rolls along the palate with a pleasing heat, creating a soft, smooth finish.
Have a bit of fun and pair our Watering Hole Dry Gin with garnishes such as lime, apple or dried capsicum to create the perfect gin and tonic.
Somewhat dry, but never sweet, our Watering Hole Dry Gin is a good starting point for those wanting to expand their Gin Experience.
BUSH CHOOK (PINK) GIN
Booming with floral intrigue, our Bush Chook Pink Gin will entice your senses with notes of jasmine, maraschino cherry and mandarin, leaving you with a lasting sensory impression of musk, peach and raspberry.
Naturally sweetened by the large quantity of fruits used during the infusion stage, our Pink Gin brings a warm and well-rounded depth to the palate.
Increase your gin and tonic experience by pairing our Bush Chook Pink Gin with garnishes such as raspberry, nectarine, pepper and cherry.

BOARD MEETING (CITRUS) GIN
Packed to the max with botanicals that fill the nose with sweet and spicy intrigue, while coating the palate with hints of orange, cinnamon and all things delightful, our Board Meeting Citrus Gin enchants the palate with a pleasant roller-coaster of flavours.
If feeling adventurous, try experimenting with a variety of spice and citrus garnishes with our Board Meeting Gin to see how the flavour profile changes as different botanicals shine through.

A group of loved ones and my pooch headed here today for a leisurely late lunch around 1.30 today. We were immediately enchanted by the sweet sounds of the musician playing today. We step inside, the rafters are adorned with fairy lights, and there are mini fireplaces dotted throughout the venue. The owner, Natalie, was warm and welcoming and we had a lovely lad named Calen, mix, and bring us our drinks.
The pizzas were divine, out of this world. The mixed platter was 👏TO👏DIE👏FOR👏. The kitchen preserves and pickles a bunch of the goodies on the platter themselves, and the team were so keen to let us know all the ins and outs of the Gin Flight, and where the proceeds go for each bottle variety.
Highly recommend the Clover Club Cocktail, and the virgin Mojito!
They even were kind enough to bring me a bowl of water for my sweet pup, Miriel. We had such a great time and the venue really handled the group booking with ease, nothing was too much to ask for!
We tried the red ale, which was so incredibly tasty, and couldn't leave without grabbing a bottle of the Watering Hole Gin to take home too.
Thanks so much to Natalie and the staff for hosting us, we will definitely make this place a regular!

Spend an evening here after researching local distilleries open for dinner and it was lovely. Great food, great drinks and even greater service! Definitely worth visiting!

Great location and outlook onto the vinyards and hills. Service was friendly. Sadly the pizzas disappointed. Soggy, stodgy and left us feeling dissatisfied and wanting to get another pizza elsewhere at other awesome options near by. Will sadly not be recommending.
Amazing family owned business with moreish botanical gins. We had amazing platters and the service was next to none. Definitely recommend visiting Down South Distillery on the Fleurieu Peninsula, it was such a beautiful experience!

What an awesome place with such a cool vibe. Some of the best pizza I've had in adelaide with probably what is my favourite gins (board meeting is truly amazing) and you get to wine and dine surrounded by vineyards. Will definitely be back!
